It is signed on the bottom base "Zellique Studio, J.M." (Joseph Morel), "8-1988, GBPK1984." Joseph Morel of Chico, California founded Zellique Studio of Benicia, California in 1980 and operated it until he closed it in 2005. His art glass is in the private collections of various heads of state, domestic and international. This bowl is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
