for your consideration today is a very lovely purple and white slag glass Rooster covered dish. perfect addition to your hen on nest collection. it is made by the Westmoreland Glass Company. there are no maker's marks or labels. there are no chips or cracks. the inside rim edge has some rough spots where it wasn't smoothed down. the base measures approx. 5 1/4" long along the top, 4" across the top, the base measures approx. 3" across and stands approx. 3 5/8" tall. the top part measures approx. 6 3/4" at the longest point, 4" at the widest and 5" tall. both pieces together measure approx. 8 1/2" tall.
