Wayne Ngan stoneware vase with flattened ovoid profile and shimmering yuteki tenmoku (oil-spot) glaze; impressed Chinese seal under the foot. • Size: 5⅞″ H × ~4″ dia. • Condition (Excellent): No chips, cracks, or repairs. Light shelf wear to foot; oil-spot crystals bright; structure sound. • Features: Metallic blue oil-spot cell pattern with high reflectivity; paddled flattened sides; neat trimmed foot with Ngan seal. • Era: 1970s VTG Hornby Island period consistent with Ngan’s stamped seal and glaze palette. • Provenance: Canadian studio pottery by Wayne Ngan (1937–2020), celebrated BC potter.
