(The photographs of this orb reflected a lot of images from the room and window.) It is very clear glass which encases spirals of yellow, orange and red while the center is closely packed striated black and white cane. This is a bold piece of table art which sits well and does not roll if not provoked. From my vintage 1990 collection to yours. It is not marked but may well be Steve Matlach of California.
