This paperweight is a rare collectible. Gibson was located directly across from the infamous Fenton Glass facility in Milton WV and obtained raw materials from Fenton. This item differs from run of the mill strawberry paperweights because Gibson added a tiny amount of uranium dioxide to the molten glass mix. See photo of the bottom of the strawberry, taken while shining a blacklight toward the makers mark. The yellow green glow is created by the uranium.
