This does have a crack and repair on the birds tail and I show it in the picture, does not take away from this beauty. This is from the 40s and I am surprised that it looks this good after this long This is a vintage majolica pottery vase from Japan, made in the 1940s. The vase is shaped like a bird with a flowering tree branch and has a hand-painted abstract pattern on a multi-colored background.
