Up for sale is a beautiful piece of North Carolina studio art pottery, handcrafted and dated 2000. This 6-inch vase features a stunning, life-like applied 3D lizard (or salamander) climbing the side, set against a backdrop of real leaf impressions pressed into the clay. The piece is finished in a warm, earthy amber and brown glaze that highlights the textures of the reptile and the foliage. It is incised on the bottom with the year 2000 and the artist's signature (see photos). • Height: Approx. 6 inches • Width: Approx. 4.5 inches at the widest point • Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. No chips or cracks to the delicate lizard toes or tail.
