Very hard to find piece of Dalzell Viking that is still left on the font or bust off. This Lavender Ice Pig was made for the Heisey collectors association in 1995. It is clearly marked with a D for Dalzell and the date. It is 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches from nose to curly tail. Fenton Glass often made items and left them on the font because collectors like them being unusual. But Dalzell Viking very seldom left any animal or item still on its font or bust off. It would have been cut off and ground smooth on the bottom at the factory. That’s why you don’t find many pieces still left on their fonts by Dalzell Viking Glass.
