Mississippi McCarty Pottery - Candle Plate Purchased in 1993, one owner. It has been enclosed in a glass bookcase, for approximately 20 years. This is a nutmeg, thumbprint candle plate, with 5 candle tubes. The plate is 9 inches in diameter, with the center tube being 1 3/4”high, and the surrounding tubes measuring 1 1/8”, 1 1/2”, 1 3/8”, and 1” high. There are no chips or cracks. It has different, beautiful, shades of nutmeg, having a very unique pattern. It comes from a smoke free home.
