Many lizards are capable of regeneration of a lost tail. This enables them to evade predators and eventually recover. So this tile isn't nearly as gruesome as it looks! In fact, it may be downright inspirational! This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed to emphasize its sculptural dimension. Round tile measures roughly 4 and 3/4 inches in diameter and is thinner than most of my tiles, about 3/8 of an inch thick at the edges. It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
