A stunning early French Leroy-Dubois Abalone Shell art pottery quimper style. Unsigned, but surely made by him. Believed to be one of the earliest pieces he made, circa 1899 to 1900. He had a short range of production ending in World War I. A phenomenal piece of art Pottery with his crest and wooded background and a maiden collecting brush. Generally fair / poor condition, has two base chips, one re-glued edge chip, and one old repair paint over Chip. The face looks great. Please view photos.
