Exquisite large Vintage Lalique Mesanges Crystal Vase This vase is beautiful on its own, or with flowers. The simplicity of the upper portion allows for your flowers to take their proper focal position. However, this artful vase easily stands on its own with its unique hexagon-shaped mouth and intricately designed frosted wreath near the base, showcasing birds and flowers. The Lalique brand is synonymous with the elegance and brilliance of handmade crystal.As with all authentic Lalique items, the branding takes effort to find, as it is etched in tiny print in a discrete location (in this case, on the bottom). I have done by best to zoom and magnify it. This was a beloved piece of my mother's for its simple and yet artful design. When cleaned, the light reflects through it magnificently. It is in pristine condition (although it could use a cleaning). My mother put earthquake putty on the bottom of her items. I had to remove it to uncover the brand etching, so I am sure that and decades of shelfware on the underside have left some mark if one looks very closely. To my novice eye, I really don't see any chips, scratches, etc. It is in really good condition. I have all my items packed and shipped in a manner far superior to the standard eBay seller.
