Stunning handmade MCM vase by the Czech-American potter Franz Kriwanek (1920-1994) of Silverton Mountain Pottery in Colorado. Beautiful geometric glaze pattern in red and earth tone with specks of blue throughout. Measures 9” tall and 5” wide. NOTE: There is a minor chip on the rim of the vase, as shown in photos. There is also part of the bottom rim where the glaze has been shaved down—this was likely done by the artist himself and original to the piece. Artist signature and chop mark on bottom of vase.
