This ornate Capodimonte porcelain centerpiece exemplifies the decorative grandiosity associated with the historic Italian manufacturer. Featuring a classical relief of two cherubs or putti amidst a textured landscape, the bowl is finished with a sophisticated gray-wash glaze that highlights the sculptural details, contrasted sharply by vibrant hand-painted gold gilt on the scrolled handles and scalloped edges.
