This item is a Mid-Century Modern Italian ceramic vase designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi Ceramiche. It features the highly collectible "Piastrelle" (or harlequin tile) pattern characterized by a textured, matte brown clay body stenciled with contrasting black and white glossy glazed quatrefoils.Produced in Italy during the 1960s, these pieces were frequently imported to the United States and distributed by high-end decor companies such as Raymor or Rosenthal Netter.
