This listing is for an antique, Victorian, cranberry glass and Mauser sterling silver lidded potpourri holder. The piece measures 8 1/4 inches high to the finial on the cover and is 4 3/4 inches at its widest. The glass features 3 feet on the bottom and a bulbous form body that tapers towards the top rim. The body has applied glass dots on the it and is hand painted with white enamel flowers and yellow scrolling foliage around it. The cover is pierced sterling silver with a scrolling flower and foliate design with a round knob top and glass jewel on the top. The sterling is marked "STERLING SILVER" along with a unicorn makers mark for Mauser Mfg. Co. The glass is in good condition with only a couple small chips to the applied glass dots, the sterling cover is excellent. It is ready for your home or shop.
