Beautiful studio pottery vase from The Kilnworks Pottery in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. This piece features a lovely grey glazed body over a terracotta base, highlighted by a striking 3D applied brown lizard or gecko motif. Measuring approximately 4 inches tall, it's a perfect small accent piece with a tropical, artisan feel. The bottom is clearly stamped with the maker's mark. This vase is in excellent pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. It exhibits some minor, natural crazing to the glaze, which is typical and expected for handmade studio pottery of this type, adding to its rustic charm.
